Is it what you see that matters?

"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." This quote explains what many people often forget: perspectives. This quote explains that what we see might be important to us but to others, it is not. Some people may think one thing is important when really it is only their perspective on the item and not what other see as being important. The perspective people have on things can depend on their opinion, their knowledge, their beliefs and also their view of the subject.

Our perspectives change as we grow older and wiser because we learn more things and more to support what we know and understand. This becomes key when asking questions to people because you must take into consideration their areas of knowledge, their amount of knowledge and their ethics. Ethics play a large role in our perspectives because there are different ways that different groups of people see the world and everything in it. Some may believe that what we see infront of us is all that the world consists of, while others may believe that there is more out there than meets the eye and that there is far more to understand about the world than we have discovered.

Therefore, " It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye" is a wonderful quote because it explains that not all people see the same things or have the same perspectives on everything. Everyone differs in their perspectives and the way they see the world. If we all has the same perspective, what would the world be like? Would we all be the same, act the same and think the same? Would there be no difference among people?

Reason is more important for many reasons. You need to have reason when making decisions, you need reasons when putting words to actions and reason is important for us to use when deciding what we know and understand. Reason aides us in make decisions because we use it to decipher between what is good or bad. It also relates to our morals because they have reason behind them as to why we believe what we believe and why we believe it. If we didn't have reason as to why we believed it, we would be lying to ourselves about our beliefs. Reason is important to our knowledge in many ways. Knowledge and reason tie together because we need reason to have knowledge. Without reason for our knowledge, it would be useless.
I also was bored and looking up different awareness videos on YouTube and found this one. Its crazy how unobservant people can be when we know what we are looking, we still me some of the little things. This video asks you to count the number of letter "f"s that there are in a simple sentence. I failed.
